Why on earth is the California Republican Party paying for ads in favor of the Indian gaming props on the CA ballot? Is the party awash in spending money these days? Does my party not have bigger fish to fry? Do the casinos not have the megabucks to fund their own ads?
Worse still, the argument made by the ads seems to subtly rule out the possibility of serious, responsible spending cuts as an alternative solution to California's looming fiscal meltdown.
It's yet another example of the fuzzy vision which has infected the Party apparatchiks of late.
